Maruti Grand Vitara Price Hiked
Maruti Suzuki gave away that the prices are set to revise from April 1. But the quantum of change was not mentioned at that time. Now, we have the figures and the Grand Vitara has an updated price list of up to Rs. 30,000 on select models. Let’s chart it out for a better picture.

The base Sigma 1.5 MT gets a price hike of Rs. 25,000 while the Delta 1.5 MTs price is up by Rs. 20,000 and they now cost Rs. 10.70 lakhs and Rs. 12.10 lakh respectively. The Zeta, Alpha, and Alpha 4WD variants face a hike of only Rs. 2,000 each.

The strong hybrid variants of the Grand Vitara are available with the biggest hike this time around as the prices of the Zeta+ and Alpha+ variants are up by Rs. 30,000.
Specifications
There are two engine options. Suzukis 103hp, 1.5 Dualjet engine that comes with a mild hybrid system is the base engine on offer and comes with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic. AWD is also available in some combinations.
The other powertrain on offer is the famous strong hybrid system. At its heart is a three-cylinder, 1.5-litre petrol that uses direct as well as indirect injection and runs a more efficient Atkinson Cycle. The maximum output for the total system (engine and electric motors) is 116hp.
